The Ellerslie Auxiliary Lane and Widening Works

Increasing this section of motorway from three to four lanes has helped relieve congestion and improve traffic efficiency.

Working in both the road and rail corridors, this project included the installation of a new concrete retaining wall and road barrier (offset from the existing) and construction of a new motorway lane (including basecourse preparation) on State Highway 1.
