Now in its 17th year, this global awards program shines a spotlight on technology and business leaders from a broad range of organisations. Recipients are recognised for displaying exceptional technology leadership, fostering ideas and creative work environments, envisioning innovative approaches to business problems and effectively managing IT strategies.
David said he was very humbled and honoured to be included on the list.
“Since commencing at John Holland in 2013, the team and I have focussed on simplifying an employee’s technology experience. We have continually strove to make complex simple by engaging across John Holland via many presentations and workshops. This has been complemented by the weekly CIO blog discussing all things technology, with the exploration of leadership and innovation,” David said.
“A highlight for me has been the unique series of day in the life strategy videos showing the upcoming year of technologies being implemented at John Holland, with a pursuit of a modern consumer experience. Our employees in the field can complete 80-90% of their job on any smart device without the need for paper.
“Moving forward, we will continue to innovate through exploring the value of emerging and disruptive technologies that benefit our business.”
David is also an Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University of Technology and member of their Business School Industry Advisory Board.
"I'm exceptionally grateful for the support I have received from John Holland and Swinburne, however my greatest acknowledgment is for every member of John Holland's technology community for their effort and ongoing dedication."
