Education & Research
Our presence in the education and research sector is particularly strong. We understand the need for early collaboration with our stakeholders to balance the interest of creating an inspiring learning environment and maximising the capital investment. We have extensive experience in delivering educational projects and research centres for both government and the private sector.
Our work on the Federally funded Building the Education Revolution Project saw us deliver more than 250 new school buildings across Australia. We are also behind the state-of-the-art Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) Replacement Research Reactor Project.
We recently completed construction of the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Science and the University of Tasmania Medical Science Precinct in Tasmania. We were also the construction partner on the Queensland Government’s first Public Private Partnership (PPP) for the redevelopment and management of facilities in the Southbank Education and Training Precinct.
We are building a flagship home for the new University of Sydney Business School and student accommodation at both the University of Sydney and the University of Newcastle. The Creative Industries Precinct development is currently underway at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), developing a single creative arts based community hub for creative industries, fine arts, dance, drama, performance, music and visual arts.
We are known for our integrated project implementation and reliable co-operation over the long term, from design through to construction. Not only are we able to construct buildings with unique designs, we are able to ensure maximum use of available space and optimise building functionality.
Our sustainable building skills means that we can meet the requirements of the common building rating tools such as Green Star and NABERS but also the sustainability rating tools or requirements of our customers.
