Answers to frequently asked questions about searching for job vacancies at John Holland, applying for a job at John Holland, and working for John Holland can be found below.


To view our current vacancies, select the Job Search link located on the left hand menu. Choose the location, work type and category that best fits your interests and a list of our current vacancies matching your search criteria will be displayed. You are then able to apply by clicking ‘Apply’ at the bottom of the advertisement.

All employment applications must be submitted online via the Careers section of the John Holland Website. If your Job Search returns no suitable results, you can subscribe to our Job Alerts. To sign up for John Holland Job Alerts, complete your job search (using the search options on the left hand side of the job search page) and then select the ‘Send Me Jobs Like These’ link which appears above the Search Results. You will then be notified by email when a job is posted on our Website matching the criteria you have selected.

If you are having trouble submitting your resume, first check if your firewall has been set to block any pop-up windows. When pop-up windows are blocked, a yellow bar runs underneath the navigator bar. You can right click on this bar to allow pop-up windows for our career pages. If you are still having problems with submitting your resume, please contact us at People.Systems@jhg.com.au 

You are able to track the progress of your application by logging into your account via the Existing Applicant Login link.

John Holland has a wide range of learning and development opportunities available, including (but not limited to) personal, tailored development plans, leadership programs, specialist programs and ongoing systems training. Additionally, we encourage external studies where relevant.

You can reset your password by clicking on the Existing Applicant Login link and selecting the ‘Forgotten password?’ link. A new password will then be emailed to you.

Yes, if your application is unsuccessful we may retain your information on file in the event that a more appropriate opportunity becomes available. If you would like your details removed from our recruitment system, you can login to your account and select 'Remove Application'. Alternatively, please contact us at People.Systems@jhg.com.au to request your details to be removed.
