MEDIA STATEMENT- Dalrymple Bay Incident
Sydney, May 7, 2008 – It is with regret that we confirm that one John Holland employee died late yesterday following an accident at the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal 7X Project.
The employee died after being run over by a moving vehicle. At this time our thoughts and condolences are with the employee's family and workmates.
A John Holland response team has been engaged to provide counselling to employees.
John Holland management is also onsite. We have initiated a full investigation in parallel with the regulatory authorities.
